If you thought Riyadh Season couldn’t get any bigger… think again. This fall, Saudi Arabia is going full stand-up mode with the launch of the world’s largest comedy festival — right in the heart of Riyadh.
From September 26 to October 9, the Riyadh Comedy Festival is landing with two weeks of nonstop laughs, headliner performances, and meme-worthy moments, as over 50 of the world’s funniest comedians take over Boulevard City, according to the Saudi Press Agency. Yes, you read that right: 50.
Who’s Performing?
Basically, if you’ve ever laughed at Netflix, YouTube, or TikTok, someone you love is probably coming, local or international.

Think big names like American comedy icon Kevin Hart, Emmy winner Aziz Ansari, former SNL star Pete Davidson, Netflix favorite Tom Segura (Ball Hog, Disgraceful, Mostly Stories, Completely Normal), the ever-hilarious Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, and global sensation Russell Peters. All confirmed to hit the Riyadh stage.

There’s also a whole galaxy of comedy legends and rising stars: Bobby Lee, Whitney Cummings, Sebastian Maniscalco, Jim Jefferies, Jessica Kirson, Andrew Schulz, Omid Djalili, Zarna Garg, and many more.

The rest of the lineup is at the official General Entertainment Authority website.
Where It’s All Happening
The laughs will echo through Boulevard City, Riyadh’s entertainment powerhouse and the beating heart of Riyadh Season. Think open-air plazas, food trucks, glowing stages, and thousands of fans — all soaking in the vibes.

The space was made for moments like this, and this might just be its biggest yet.
Why It’s a Big Deal
This isn’t just about bringing in big names. It’s part of something bigger — Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the country’s push to become a global entertainment destination.
Led by Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Riyadh Season has been growing every year — with concerts, festivals, sporting events, and now, a comedy takeover unlike anything before.
So mark your calendar, charge your phone, and start practicing your “laugh until you cry” emoji.
