OMG MENA’s Year-Long CSR Project Will Inspire You to Make the Most of 2015
I don’t know what you did last year, but this 20-minute documentary is a must-watch for anyone hoping to make a difference this new year. In efforts to improve circumstances in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania, the Omnicom Media Group MENA team launched a year-long CSR project in 2014 with the hopes of improving the lives of street children in the area.
This inspiring video documents the end of their expedition and gives insight into their project, as well as takes you through their journey up the highest mountain in Africa.
Their mission centers around the Amani Children’s Home, an establishment created by local Tanzanians with the goal of providing a home for street children in the area. OMG’s year-long expedition yielded phenomenal results, as the group was successful in raising enough money to build a facility in which children who suffered from horrifying conditions can transition into The Amani Children’s Home. They even had enough funds leftover to contribute to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund in Gaza and Syria.
The short film gives us perspective about the world we live in today and shows what can come of hard work and dedication. It’s guaranteed to make you sit and wonder what YOU’VE done for the world.
