Mykonos Turns Off the Music; 8 Greek Islands Arabs Should Go to Instead!

Mykonos, one of Greece’s most popular travel destinations, has sadly shut its doors and imposed a strict curfew because of a ‘worrying’ spike in COVID-19 infections. The curfew includes a ban on bars, clubs, and restaurants from playing music until July 26th; Unfortunately, the 10-day restriction coincides with Eid Al Adha, removing Mykonos from the top of the bucket list of many Arabs.

“We call on the residents, visitors, and business owners of our beautiful island to follow the measures faithfully…so that the spread of the virus can be swiftly checked and Mykonos can return to normal,” deputy civil protection minister Nikos Hardalias said in a statement.

Luckily, Greece is blessed with many beautiful islands, and here are a few that could serve as an alternative this Eid!
