The Music Room Is Shutting Down After a Decade in Dubai
After 12 years of superb entertainment, Dubai’s The Music Room is shutting down.

The hot spot has been the platform for many up-and-coming artists. Scheduled to shut the curtains on Saturday the 30th of September, the four-times winner of Time Out Dubai’s Live Music Venue award will be missed quite dearly.

The platform has been home for many international artists throughout their decade, from The Proclaimers to Dam Funk, they’ve hosted many ah-mazing musicians. Not only that, but it also witnessed the launch of albums by Jonas Desai and Craig Perry.
Theme nights were a regular in The Music Room, something its attendees greatly enjoyed. “We are proud of what we achieved, we built a stage together from scratch and it quickly became a melting pot for awesome live performances from around the globe,” said Alex and Fay Economides of M Management Company – the people behind the brand.

The lively venue was a hub for fans of live music, hosting more than 700 people and guaranteeing everyone having a blast with the lovely ambiance and the good quality music.
