Music Festivals That Arabs Need to Put on Their Radar This Summer!

Via Hostel World

Attending a music festival is hands down my absolute favorite thing in life. Everything about music festivals can make anyone happy. It’s like the three days of the week you’re spending at the festival is an escape of anything that bores you from your life.

Music festivals differ from one another, but there are some things that are common among most of them that make people happy other than music. For example, the colorful setting and decorations that instantly appeal to one’s eyes and heart.

Also, the chill and happy vibes that are always all over the place that make people extra-friendly, talkative, and super nice. Many festival attendees feel a shared sense of identity between them. Moreover, fashion enthusiasts definitely enjoy the fashion statements made at festivals. Not to mention, the wild performances of people playing with fire and light pongs across the festival grounds.

Here are some music festivals that Arabs should put on their radar this summer!

Sziget Festival

Sziget Festival is my all time favorite festival as I attended the 2018 edition and it was one of the best experiences of my life. This year, they created a once-in-a-lifetime line-up with Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, Twenty Pilots, Post Malone, and many more. The festival takes place in Budapest, Hungary from the 7th to the 13th of August.

Of course, Tomorrowland is one of the most poplar music festivals in the world. The EDM festival was founded back in 2005 and it takes place in Boom, Belgium. It now stretches over two weekends and literally sells out in minutes. This year, it will take place from the 19th to the 28th of July.

Lollapalooza Berlin

Lollapalooza Berlin is a two-day music festival that takes place at the very end of the summer, from the 7th to the 8th of September. It takes place at Olympiapark Berlin, and this year’s line-up seems very promising with Kings of Leon, Swedish House Mafia, Billie Eilish, Rita Ora, Martin Garrix, and many more set to attend.

Exit Festival

EXIT is an award-winning summer music festival which is held at the Petrovaradin Fortress in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. This year, it’ll take place from the 4th to the 7th of July. This year’s line-up includes Solomun, Tale of Us, and Peggy Gou.

Pitchfork Music Festival

The Pitchfork Music Festival is an annual summer music festival that takes place at Union Park, Chicago. This year, it’ll take place from the 19th to the 22nd of July. This will be the 14th edition of the festival.

WE SAID THIS: You should definitely plan to attend at least one of them this summer!
