How to Make a Mango Margarita 101


It’s that time of year again – we’re all headed off to the beach or whatever other exciting Spring Break destination to soak in some sun for the holidays! If you happen to have a basic grocery store and a blender nearby, you and your friends can usher in the new season in style with this easy recipe for mango margaritas:



1 (10-ounce) bag frozen diced mango
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2/3 cup tequila (preferably silver, 80 proof)
2 tablespoons Cointreau or other orange liqueur
2 tablespoons superfine sugar
2 cups ice water

Note: for virgin margaritas, just skip the tequila.



1. Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

2. To serve, rim the top of each glass with either sugar or salt, depending on preference.
