Let Your Heart GLOW This Valentine’s Day

By Menna Saad

Help heal a heart this Valentine’s Day. With every purchase of Glow’s Pomegranate Bliss juice, you will be donating to help a child with congenital heart disease. With every sip, your own heart will be GLOWING.

This Valentine’s Day, the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, Egypt’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to funding congenital cardiovascular diseases, has announced a partnership with local juice brand, Glow, to raise funds differently with a glowing, heart-healthy fruit drink called “Pomegranate Bliss”, where a portion of all the proceeds from the juice’s sales will be donated to the foundation.

It all started when the foundation reached out to Glow to procure juices that support heart health for significance, with Glow’s health coaches and nutritionists recommending their “Pomegranate Bliss” which improves blood flow, keeps the arteries clear, slows the growth of plaque and reduces the buildup of cholesterol.

As if that wasn’t enough, the pomegranates are cold-pressed, which means the dietary fiber is removed from the seeds, allowing your body to absorb more nutrients and get all the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants you need.

It doesn’t end here! The campaign has only just begun and the #MYFXGLOW collaboration is already going viral! The brand took this initiative across the country with a marketing campaign where they collaborated to form a social media challenge. Fans and influencers support the cause by buying the product, taking pictures and videos, and then nominating their friends to do the same.

Both organizations will continue to raise awareness about the cause using the hashtag #LetYourHeartGlow.

This current challenge will not only provide funds to the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, but will also provide an outlet to encourage conversations among kids, parents, and caregivers through their networks. This network connects people who have healed from or are living with heart disease and stroke with others that are going through a similar journey, creating an online community to share their stories, show love, care, and extra glowing support.

“It is a collaboration to help heal the hearts of children and to help the association reach more people and at the same time to promote awareness regarding the health of the cardiovascular system and how to keep it healthy and how to heal in general. Let’s not break the chain of Glowing hearts to help more and more little hearts heal!” – Amina Rashad, Glow’s co-founder and health coach.

Glow was founded on principles of health, plant-based diets, locally sourced ingredients, sustainability, zero-waste (as much as possible) education, and affordability. Glow’s core values set the standard for a truly unique product in the juicing/healthy snacks world. Creating recipes and operating standards around these core principles has guided Glow to develop the best smoothies, juices, and snacks on the market. Glow invests in the best ingredients, materials, and equipment to provide the highest quality juice available.

It all started in January 2017 when Glow’s co-founder Amina Rashad, as a health coach and expert, taught her clients how to eat, what to eat, when to eat, and how to prepare their meals and plan for them. She taught them different theories of nutrition and how to choose among them what suits them best. She noticed how busy her clients were and their inability to plan and prepare meals for themselves daily; it’s here that the brand’s concept finally came to life.
