In Pictures: The First-Ever Antiquities Museum Opens its Doors to the Public in Hurghada

The Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly along with the Minister of Antiquities and Tourism Khaled Al-Anany inaugurated the first-ever antiquities museum in the heart of the Red Sea Governorate in Hurghada.

During the inauguration, El-Anany said, “Hurghada, Red Sea is known for beach tourism, those who come on charter flights never get to see the history of Egypt, now we are offering them a capsule of history.”

The museum is a product of a partnership between the government and the private sector to bring an integral part of Egyptian heritage to the Red Sea Governorate.
