In Pictures: Bibliotheca Alexandrina Just Lit Up in Bright Orange and Here’s Why!
Amid the celebration of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign that takes place globally each year, Egypt’s Bibliotheca Alexandrina was lit up in bright orange, symbolizing a world free from gender violence. A stand was also organized at the library, with more than 300 participants taking part to raise awareness about the issue and express a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of violence.
