Hollywood Walk of Fame Is Coming to The Middle East
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and Beirut-based company Milestones is set to turn the Middle East into Hollywood. The iconic Walk of Fame is getting its Arabic rendition soon. The deal was brokered by Global Icons, the Walk of Fame’s licensing agency. The popular monument that celebrates achievement in entertainment will, however, get a makeover in the Middle East, where a symbol other than Hollywood’s iconic star will be used.
The exact location hasn’t been decided yet. Milestones CEO Albert Bamboukian told Variety that the Arabian Walk of Fame might spread across different Middle Eastern cities, instead of one. performers and entertainers from around the region will finally get the chance to be honored and recognized by one governing body.
