Hero of the Day: An Egyptian Immigrant in Italy Gives Back to the Country That Took Him In
With more than 120,000 migrants working in Italy, Samer, an Egyptian Immigrant who has been living in Italy for more than ten years has just made us all Arabs proud by carrying out this generous gesture. Samer owns a fruit market, and due to the current pandemic we’re living in, many are struggling to find basic necessities like food, so he decided to open his market to everyone and started giving away fruits for free! His sign reads, “You welcomed me into your country for 10 years. Today I return my favor to you”. Our hearts just got ten times bigger by Samer’s act of kindness, and we wish him all the success in life.
