Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Egypt’s Young Entrepreneur Festival
Career Development Services Company, iSpark, will be celebrating the finale of their Young Entrepreneur program on the 17th of March. The festival will take place at the British University in Egypt; where the students will be pitching their business ideas in front of a panel of judges during the Young Entrepreneur Festival.
The program is basically an entrepreneurship competition for high school students in Egypt, in collaboration with USAID and the Ministry of Trade. The Young Entrepreneur Festival will conclude the program, and here’s what will happen; the students will be inviting their schools, families, and friends to support them and see their achievements. Each team will pitch their idea in front of a panel of judges, which will determine the top three winning teams, but nonetheless, all the students have a chance to win prizes.
There is a cash prize for the final winning teams up to 20,000EGP. Moreover, all teams will have their pictures posted on Facebook and for each like they get they will win a monetary prize. As the Young Entrepreneur students pitch their ideas, simultaneously there will be a festival of celebration for their friends and other students. After the Young Entrepreneur students finish pitching there will be an open fair for everyone to walk around the Young Entrepreneurs’ booths where they will be showcasing their business ideas. At the end of the day, there will be talks, celebratory speeches, and an awards ceremony.
