Greenish Smartly Involves Everyone in Cleaning Alexandria’s Dakhila Beach
Egyptian eco-friendly initiative, Greenish, decided to teach the Alexandrian community about the hazards and dangers of plastic use in the most fun way.
The activists paid Dakhila beach a visit and managed to integrate public beach visitors into collecting plastic waste from across the beach. In exchange for plastic, the participants are given a newly introduced currency called “Bah” which allowed them to buy anything from beach vendors.
Greenish described the experiment held in one of the most challenging public beaches in Alexandria as a success organized by the TOT participants in partnership with Banlastic Egyp.
