From Andrea Bocelli to Mohamed Abdu, Dubai’s Expo 2020 Ceremony is one for the Books
The Expo 2020 Dubai is right around the corner! The opening ceremony will be held on the 1st of October, and will last until the end of March. And just to heat up the event a little more, some of the most talented and famous regional and global stars such as Andrea Bocelli, Ellie Goulding, Andra Day, Ahlam Alshamsi, and Mohamed Abdu will also be performing at the ceremony!

The event will consist of 90 minutes of performances and colorful costumes, and will be aired on TV channels all over the world, setting the scene for the six-month world fair ahead. Taking place in Al Wasl Plaza, this theatre boasts the largest and most impressive sound installation globally. In addition, all the shows are set to present impressive light shows, with advanced and superior technology immersed into every detail of the event. As a global event, and as a product of creative work, the event will surely attract the eyes of the world.

An invited audience will witness these fantastic performances, with a lineup including opera singer Andrea Bocelli, Golden Globe-winning actress Andra Day, and Platinum-selling pop star Ellie Goulding, in addition to the Chinese pianist Lang Lang and singer Angelique Kidjo. Regional artists include Mohamed Abdu and Emirati singer Ahlam Alshamsi. A long-awaited event, and undoubtedly worth the wait!
