A new name with a compelling face, meet the first Saudi Arabian model to walk the Paris Couture runways, Taleedah Tamer. Opening for Antonio Grimaldi autumn/winter 2018/19 collection wearing a sculpted white suit. Introducing Arabian symmetry to European standards and encouraging women back home to follow their dreams. Under layers of abayas, Taleedah proves Saudi women are the crème de la crème of Gulf beauty.
Born to a Saudi father and an Italian mother, Taleedah, at the age of only 18, started posing as the face of international magazines including Harper Bazaar. Debuting her first catwalk introduced the beauty to the big screens; the teen is the first ever Saudi model to walk International runways! Growing up in Jeddah, and very intouch with her Saudi roots, she hopes to build a career that showcases and honours Saudi women.
Hopefully, we can see more aspiring models from all over the Middle East, because God knows how beautiful these women are. Thanks to Mohammed Bin Salman, women can foollow their dreams and the Saudi fashion industry is flourishing. This will definitely be an inspirational moment for the Arab fashion world.
