Fire Erupts at Dubai Marina Tower
A fire broke out in one of the towers of Dubai Marina, and residents are currently being evacuated. Although initial posts on social media speculated that it could be MAG218 or Marina Pinnacle, we were on the ground, and we confirm that it is Sulafa Tower. Firefighters came to the scene and have gotten the situation relatively under-control.
The fire is believed to have broken out at around 3PM, but there are no reports as to how it started. The neighboring Westin Dubai Mina Saeyahi had their staff help residents go to safety and took them to their hotel.
