estabena.com
The online world is where its at. And with all that is going on in our country we seem to be doing great in terms of online start ups. I stumbled upon this new venture yesterday, “Estabena.com“. Estabena, meaning “agreed/settled” in Egyptian folk, usually used in the lingo when buying or selling property is very smartly used as the name of the business since they specialize in real estate listings.
Formally, its a property listing service that strives to facilitate the communication process between buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants regarding their properties. Its aim is to bridge the gap between property owners and the market, consequently, accelerating the entire process. All their transactions are commission FREE! (I think that’s a first in real estate)
So you can log in on the site, ask to add your listing and a team of specialized and highly trained engineers pay your property a visit to take its dimensions and high quality photographs. Once that step is complete, they create a comprehensive property portfolio, in addition to listing your property on the website and their magazine.
I was personally impressed with the site, not because it was a technical revolution or anything, but just because I thought it was one of the most minimal (clean design) web designs I’ve seen for property listing websites. It is also very easy to use, you do not need to be looking for anything, and the search widget is pretty neat and understandable to any user. You can also create your own account either locally on the site or through Facebook and keep a watch list of the different properties that you are interested in.
All in all, looking great as a start and seems to have some great creative power behind it. I’m still not sure how they make money or what kind business model they’re running, but I’m sure they do very well.
WE SAID THIS: We are very young in the online world, we need great ventures like these to pop up everyday!
