Coldplay Launches Their New Album In Unique Form with Incredible Sunrise and Sunset Shows in Amman!
After four years of absence, Coldplay will be back with a Middle East influenced album called Everyday Life! Fortunately for residents and visitors of Amman, Coldplay will be celebrating the launch of their album with two concerts at sunrise and sunset of the same day. Why, you ask? Let us enlighten you!
Everyday Life will be a double album, with the first half called Sunrise and the second half called Sunset. The concerts will start at 6 AM and 6 PM, Jordan time and each will feature its respective half of the album.
Coldplay released the album’s lead singles, Orphans and Arabesque, on the 24th of October, and let’s just say that they’ve really raised the bar, and our expectations, for the album. Everyday Life is a collaboration between Coldplay and YouTube Originals and both concerts will be streamed live for fans all over the world to watch!
The Middle East influenced album has an Arabic translation for the title on the cover; Al Hayah Al Yawmeya! It’s full of Middle Eastern and Arabic references, with songs like Arabesque and Bani Adam paying tribute to the region’s culture.
“These two broadcasts have been our dream since we first started work on this album. It’s a bit impossible and a bit scary, like all the best dreams,” said the band in an official statement.
