Cayan Group Speaks Against Daredevil Act – Legal Action to Take Place
A stunt performed by Russian model Viktoria Odintsova, who risked her life for an Instagram photo shoot off Dubai’s Cayan Tower, has been condemned by the owner of the high-rise building.
“Although the Cayan Tower has been periodically used for extreme sports events, in all cases there has been safety, security, and emergency services on site. We have a process of selecting trained professionals skilled at their craft, especially these high-risk life-threatening events, and carry out a strict review of the safety measures and backup safety measures before approving the event,” explained Gizel Daher, the Director of Marketing & Communications.
It has been said that would Odintsova, along with her team, would face legal action for expertly breaching security. The Dubai Police authorities have also launched a probe into the incident. According to local reports, the assistant to the Dubai Police Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, said people performing these stunts could face prosecution.
