Cafe Del Mar Meydan Beach Opening in Dubai

Cafe Del Mar, Ibiza’s chill lounge brand has found a new home in Dubai’s Meydan Beach opening it’s door this weekend with an extravaganza of entertainment. 

Set up in 1980, the iconic San Antonio stalwart Café Del Mar, has been soundtracking sunsets for thousands of people over the past 3 decades, building from funk, soul, blues and jazz into more electronic sounds as the night progresses. The brand has also been a big player on the compilation market, with then resident Jose Padilla and Bruno from Ibiza creating dozens of mix CDs which have ably demonstrated their newly created chill out sound. 

Romanian pop/house star Edward Maya will headline on the Friday night, known his global hit ‘Stereo Love’, and also local Pierre Ravan. Dubai DJ Tim Kay been announced as a resident, as well as live musicians including saxophone, drums, singers, dancers, and fire acts etc. Joining them with be more local residents such as DJ Bruch Hill, Safe-T, Sty Laurie, Nina K AND MaxxDrums!
