Bringing Hopes & Dreams To Jordan: Ellie Goulding Opens Music & Arts Center At Zaatari Refugee Camp

English singer, Ellie Goulding has opened a music center at Jordan’s Zaatari refugee camp. The singer took to her Instagram to share the experience, of getting to know the kids as performers and musicians.

She said, “It was an extraordinary privilege to meet young Syrian people and to get the opportunity to see them not only as refugees but as musicians and artists and performers. I will remember and treasure their performances for a long time to come.”

Goulding also commented on the power of music bringing people together. The center is set to provide kids with shelter through access to classes in guitar, drums, oud, voice and dance, a performance space and a recording studio.
