Breaking News: Grand Egyptian Museum Building Site On Fire

According to various news sources; during the construction of the new building of the Grand Museum in Egypt, the wooden scaffolding caught fire, as was reported to the Civil Protection Department in the Security Directory of Giza district.
Ten fire trucks were sent to contain the situation, however, there were no casualties resulting from the fire as the building had been evacuated. The fire was put out and an investigation is underway to track the causes of the fire.
The Grand Museum of Egypt is an under construction and is supposed to open in 2018 exhibiting the full collection of Tutankhamen with pieces that are to be displayed for the first time. The museum is about two kilometers from the pyramids of Giza and is supposed to be a part of a bigger plan to showcase the whole area.
