Founder and Head Coach of BeFit Aly Mazhar is everywhere health and fitness related these days.
The first episode of his web series ElCoach was released by Tayarah this week, giving you a glimpse of his day-to-day life with BeFit, from the fitness classes to the challenges.
Aly is the Middle East’s first and only Sponsored Athlete for KT Tape, putting him amongst U.S. pro triathlete Timothy O’Donnel, three-time Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh and 14-time world IPF champion Mike Bridges…
As well as an ambassador for Polar Fitness. Check out his stats from his Polar Beat fitness app below for a “regular day at the office”. Insane!
Aly played soccer at Rutgers University before an injury sidelined his football career.
He returned to Egypt, founded BeFit last year and it’s taken off ever since. Remember the Coke “A7la Ma3” Ramadan ad?
BeFit even has its own meals! The BeFit Salads and Sandwiches, healthy and absolutely delicious, available at TBS:
And BeFit drinks. The Post Workout Shake and Muscle Recovery Shake (which are yummy enough for any time, really) available at Lychee Fruit Bar:
Aly runs 36 BeFit classes for all levels of fitness along with six other coaches every week.
In the summer, Aly brought BeachFit to Sa7el at Haciendas.
And BeFit’s Transformation Challenges, which are held every three months, are truly inspirational.
“No matter where you stand, there’s always room for improvement. Work on your weaknesses, embrace your strengths and don’t settle for what you have already achieved. The fit can get fitter, the strong can get stronger and the fast can get faster.
It doesn’t matter what other people do, the only competition you need to beat is yourself. Wake up every single day striving to get better than the day before. That is what the BeFit Transformation Challenge is all about. It is YOU AGAINST YOURSELF.” – Aly Mazhar
Want some of his fitness advice? “Get back to basics, train with people who would kick your ass, strive to get better and do not just work out to feel good about yourself or to join the hype. Get the best out of every damn workout. Be positive and BeFit.” – Aly Mazhar
