Khabib is very popular in the MMA world as he’s the first Russian to win the UFC title, the holder of the longest ever undefeated streak and his last match was against the most popular MMA fighter, Conor McGregor, where he brutally defeated him. He’s also very popular in the region as he happens to be Muslim, as the majority of the Arab world.

Both fighters are 30 years old and weigh 70.3 kilograms. Poirier has a record of 25 wins, 5 losses, and 1 no contest. While Khabib has an undefeated streak of 27 wins! Poirier won his last match last April against Max Holloway, and Khabib won his last match against McGregor in October of 2018. Almost all websites that stated their predictions, said that the odds are all in favor of Khabib, probably the best grappler in the history of the game. Even though Poirier is a very tough striker, he has very weak chances to beat Khabib.

WE SAID THIS: Do you think Khabib will defend his title or are we crowning a new champion in Abu Dhabi?
