Fashion has always been about more than what we wear, and Pakistani streetwear label Dreams of Arthur made that clear during the grand finale of LAAM Fashion Week held at the Expo Centre in Lahore, Pakistan. The independent brand used its runway moment to display a pro-Palestine message, turning a streetwear showcase into a statement about identity, resistance, and solidarity with Palestine.
A Streetwear Collection With an Edge
Taking over the LFW Edit on Day 4, Dreams of Arthur brought a bold streetwear aesthetic to the runway. Oversized hoodies, leather pieces, and dramatic outerwear set the tone, while sharp collars, faux fur, and face coverings added another layer. Each look explored identity, protest, and belonging, giving the presentation a distinct attitude beyond the clothes themselves.

A Pro-Palestine Message Takes Center Stage
The show’s most striking moment came during the finale, when a model walked the runway wearing a dark bomber jacket layered over a hoodie embroidered with the phrase, “MAKE ‘ISRAEL’ PALESTINA AGAIN”. The message placed Palestine at the center of the collection’s closing moment, using fashion to make a political statement in front of the audience.
The Runway Backdrop Had Something to Say, Too
The messaging went beyond the clothes. Throughout the presentation, the digital backdrop displayed phrases including “The Algorithm Is Lying”, “Kindness Costs $0”, and “More Macklemore less Ed”. Together, the slogans added to the show’s protest-inspired atmosphere, touching on digital narratives, kindness, and music culture.

Getting to Know Dreams of Arthur
Dreams of Arthur (DoA) is a premium streetwear label with roots in the New York fashion industry. The brand was founded by the son of a South Asian immigrant who entered New York City’s wholesale fashion scene in the 1990s. Its latest runway presentation reflects a streetwear approach that brings together bold styling, cultural identity, and social commentary.
Fashion weeks are usually filled with new collections, striking silhouettes, and looks that set the tone for the next season. But Dreams of Arthur used its moment at LAAM Fashion Week to put a message front and center. By bringing its pro-Palestine statement to the runway, the brand showed how clothing can become a way to express ideas, spark conversations, and draw attention to issues beyond the fashion world.
