This Ramadan drama season is all about fresh faces who’ve quickly captured both our screens and our hearts. With show-stopping performances and characters that had us hooked from the first episode, these rising stars are taking over Ramadan TV, and honestly, we’re here for it.
Tara Abboud
Sohab El Ard & Fakhr El Delta
You might know her as Sarah from Al Rawabi School for Girls (2024), but this year, Jordanian actress Tara Abboud has taken over Egyptian screens with not one, but two captivating roles. She shines as Karma in Sohab El Ard, a part brimming with raw emotion, and again in Fakhr El Delta, where she brings charm and lightness as Fakhr’s love interest.
Dona Emam
Efrag
Dona Emam has kept us hooked with her unique energy in the hit movie El Hareefa 2: El Remontada (2024), the series Rivo (2023), and, of course, as Dalida in last Ramadan’s Athena (2025), a role that was raw, real, and deeply emotional. This Ramadan, she raises the bar even higher with a masterful performance as Engy in Efrag.
Youssef Wahby
Etnin Gherna & Kolohom Byhebo Mody
After catching our attention with his performances in Leh Laa? (2020) and Ma Tarah Laysa Kama Yabdo (2025), Youssef Wahby is making waves twice this Ramadan. In Etnin Gherna, he shines as Ibrahim, a production worker with the potential to become a love interest, and in Kolohom Byhebo Mody as Ziad, where he brings his signature charisma to the role.
Tamima Hafez
Kan Ya Makan & Etnin Gherna
After stepping onto the screen with a role in Nogoum El Sahel (2025), German-Egyptian actress Tamima Hafez quickly proved that her talent is here to stay. She charmed us as Nour’s best friend in Etnin Gherna and shone as Samar in Kan Ya Makan, showcasing her versatility in portraying both friendships and complex relationships.
Jana El Ashkar
Ein Sehreya
After making her way onto screens with roles in Watar Hassas (2024) and May in Athena (2025), this year she had something even bigger in store. In Ein Sehreya this Ramadan, she quickly made her mark as Asmaa, Adel’s love interest.
Omar Sherif
Ein Sehreya
Omar Sherif first caught our attention acting alongside some of the biggest names, from Selim in Hend Sabry’s Finding Ola (2022) to Yassin in Mona Zaki’s Taht El Wesaya (2023). This year, he takes on a role that truly showcases his growth as an actor, Adel’s brother Hassan in Ein Sehreya, a performance that firmly launches him into the next league.
Ahmed Bla
Ein Sehreya
After first winning us over as Nahla in Al Atawla (2024), Ahmed Bla has now become a fan favorite in Ein Sehreya as Adel’s trusty sidekick, Toha, a role that perfectly showcases both his talent and his comedic flair.
These fresh faces didn’t just pop up on our screens this Ramadan: they’ve stormed in with energy, talent, and charm that’s impossible to ignore. From swoon-worthy love interests to unforgettable friendships, they’re not just here for a moment; they’re the rising stars to watch in all the projects to come.
