A recent case at Seeds International School in Al-Salam has drawn public attention after reports emerged of sexual assaults on young students in the KG stages. The situation escalated quickly as parents shared concerns, leading to formal complaints and immediate involvement by local authorities. Investigations are ongoing to ensure accountability and safeguard the students.
How The Story Started
The story began when a mother noticed unusual behavior from her five-year-old child. Sensing something was wrong, she spoke with her son, who revealed that he had been subjected to harassment by school staff. He also mentioned that other children at the school were experiencing similar treatment.
Parents Connect and Children Speak
Acting quickly, the mother reached out to the parents of the other children. Over the following hours, parents carefully spoke with their own children, who eventually disclosed the details of the abuse. The children identified the staff members involved and described the situations in which the harassment had occurred.

Identifying the Suspects
To ensure the right individuals were held accountable, the parents discreetly showed photos of the school workers to their children. This step helped confirm the identities of the suspects without alerting them, preventing any chance of the accused fleeing or avoiding responsibility.
The accused are several school staff members, including two cleaners, an electrician, and a security guard.
Filing Complaints and Police Action
Once the parents had gathered enough information, they contacted the police to report the incidents. Authorities responded promptly, opening an investigation and arresting the accused. Preliminary findings suggest that the children were lured to areas not covered by surveillance cameras and were threatened to prevent them from speaking out.
Currently, six children are officially involved in the investigation, with their accounts forming the basis of police reports. However, parents indicate that there are additional children who experienced similar harassment but have not formally joined the investigation.

Investigation Underway
The investigation includes:
- Forensic medical examinations of the children
- Recording statements from parents and children
- Reviewing surveillance footage
- Questioning school officials
Reports indicate that the alleged incidents occurred in specific, isolated areas of the school and may have been ongoing for multiple years, affecting children in both KG1 and KG2.

Government Oversight
The Ministry of Education has placed Seeds International School under administrative and financial supervision. Officials found to be negligent or involved in covering up the incidents are being referred to the legal affairs department. The ministry emphasized that ensuring student safety is a top priority.

Moving Forward
With six children officially involved and additional cases reported, the investigation is ongoing. Authorities and school officials are now under scrutiny, and steps are being taken to prevent future incidents. It also highlights the courage it takes for families to act swiftly and responsibly when their children are at risk.
