Algerian star Cheb Khaled is coming for this year’s Formula 1 after-race concerts on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Lusail Live Stage.
The Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix kicks off the high-octane race weekend with a concert on Friday, November 28th, headlined by the OG R&B star and 1996 Record of the Year winner Seal, marking the first artist announced for the event’s music lineup.
The chart-topping “King of Raï”, who’s not new to performing in Qatar or performing generally, has been performing since the age of 14 and gained international acclaim with his 1993 hit ‘Didi ’, later expanding his global fame with his 2012 hit ‘C’est la vie ’, will take the stage the following day.
For the grand finale on Sunday, November 30th, the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix will close with nine-time Grammy Award-winning rock band Metallica.
Pioneering Raï, Khaled has sold over 80 million albums worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling Arabic-language artists. His career highlights include performing on The Tonight Show in 1993 and appearing at the opening ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Meanwhile, on the tracks, a Sprint race and qualifying session will set the grid for Sunday’s main event at the 2025 FIA Formula 1® World Championship, held at the iconic Lusail International Circuit (LIC) from November 28–30. As the final Sprint event of the season, with Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris battling for the Drivers’ Championship against Max Verstappen, the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2025 stands as a crucial moment in the F1® calendar.
