President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has awarded U.S. President Donald Trump the Order of the Nile, Egypt’s highest honor, in recognition of his significant contributions to peace and his key role in facilitating the Gaza ceasefire, according to a statement from the presidential spokesperson.
Trump is set to co-host the Sharm El-Sheikh Summit for Peace today with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The gathering, bringing together leaders from more than 20 nations, will focus on solidifying the Gaza ceasefire, kick-starting reconstruction efforts, and laying the groundwork for long-term regional security and enduring peace.
