We’re loving Cut.com’s new “100 Years of Beauty” series. In their latest episode, they tackle 10 decades of women’s style in Iran.
The minute-and-a-half long video reveals not only changes in female fashion since the 1910s – shifting trends in makeup, hair and hijab – but also reflects the country’s vast social, religious and political transformations over the last century, from the banning of the veil in the 1930s to the Islamic Revolution of 1979 and the Green Revolution of 2009.
