Saudi Arabia to Open ‘Longest, Highest and Fastest Roller Coaster’ in the World
The first theme park in Saudi Arabia is set to take place in Qiddiya, a new city 40 minutes outside the capital, Riyadh. The American theme park operator, Six Flags, announced that 12 record-breaking attractions will follow the world’s fastest, longest, and highest roller coaster. It is scheduled to open to the public in 2030.
The park will feature six themed parks: The City of Thrills, Discovery Springs, Steam Town, Twilight Gardens, Valley of Fortune, and Grand Exposition. According to The National, the company stated, “The Falcon’s Flight, inspired by the kingdom’s iconic raptor, will be the longest, tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world, while the Sirocco Tower will break more records with the world’s tallest drop-tower ride.”
The entertaining and educational playground will also feature cultural and historical modern and traditional arts programs, along with it’s own community and destination resort. The multi-purpose space will include motor sport facilities, safari park, waterfalls, and gardens, encouraging citizens of all ages to improve their lifestyles.
