The internet never fails to amaze us! People come out with the weirdest content and there is simply no way to determine what will appeal to the viewers and go viral.
This week, everyone is going crazy over an egg that just beat every single other post in the history of Instagram! A random egg just surpassed the most liked picture on Instagram, and currently holds the title of the most liked picture on the social media platform! At the time of publishing, the egg had already surpassed 43 million likes!
The previous holder of the title was Kylie Jenner, on her birth announcement post. When that random egg beat her number, she responded in the funniest way possible!
Not that we have anything against the revolutionary egg, but here are top picks of posts from the region that are more deserving of the title than the egg!
Mohamed Salah
Mo Salah’s post with his coco-nut friend gave everyone mad Cast Away vibes, and it went extremely viral! It surpassed two million likes, but we’re sure it deserves more.
Mohamed Ramadan
Arguably the most badass post in the region! Mohamed Ramadan proved once again why he’s number one in his latest viral music video, Mafia.
Sherif Fayed

Maya Diab
If this doesn’t deserve to be the most liked picture on Instagram, we don’t know what does.
Rami Malek
Some people get pissed when we claim that Rami is from the region, but we don’t care. If he identifies himself as an Egyptian, then he’s definitely getting on the list! Rami Malek’s picture with Ellen definitely deserves more likes than that egg.
Ahmed Malek
Another figure that has been killing it lately is this young artist! Ahmed Malek is on fire lately; participating in several blockbusters, and solidifying himself as one of the most successful young actors in the region!
Amina Khalil
You literally can’t see this picture and not smile! If someone from the region deserves the most liked picture title, it’s definitely Amina!
Asser Yassin
Suit on point, check. Vintage car, check. Black and white, check. Mesmerizing background, check. One of the most popular actors in the region, check. What else does a picture need to go viral?
Bella Hadid
Literally the pride of the Arab World! Not only she’s dating the Star Boy
Raya Abirached
The role model for everyone who works in the media industry in the Arab World. Her beautiful picture at the Oscars in 2018 definitely deserves the title more than the egg, but that’s how life works!
