8-Year-Old Boy Electrocuted to Death in Saudi Arabia Floods
Three people lost their lives in the tragic Saudi floods last Tuesday; however, it was not specified who they were. After investigations took place, Al Arabiya reported that one of victims was an 8-year-old Somali boy who got electrocuted in a flooded neighborhood in Jeddah called Al-Sahifa.
The floods majorly disrupted life in Saudi Arabia, that even schools and colleges did not operate in Riyadh. Authorities received 118 different reports, including one about a building collapsing.
Red Crescent Authority’s representative, Abdullah Ahmed Abu Zeid, declared that there were seven reported incidents of electric shocks, in which two of them resulted in death.
