While Saudi women are still celebrating their little winnings in life such as attending concerts and driving for the first time; this young Saudi girl has landed her first cover of an international magazine. Taleedah Tamer is the first Saudi woman to walk at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. She was born to a Saudi father, Ayman Tamer, who is the Chairman of Tamer Group the pharmaceutical conglomerate. Her mother is an Italian model who had worked with internationally famous brands such as Giorgio Armani, Gianfranco Ferré and La Perla.

‘When I first started modelling I never thought that I’d be the “first Saudi model”, but it seems like the perfect time for the industry to open up,’ she said. The young model still has just above 6,000 followers on Instagram but as her modelling career flourishes, we expect the number to increase very fast.
