The Wedding Fair! It’s Coming

0

I had always dreamt about my wedding. Yes, I was that girl. I imagined myself in my white dress and long train. My veil, the tiara, the whole thing was so vivid in my mind. All I needed was the groom. So when my now husband proposed, I thought that my fairytale would begin. Little did I know that planning a wedding was harder than training for a triathlon. From cakes and dresses to flowers and photographers, it’s all very overwhelming! I immediately started my online research, looking at sites like www.olgatopchii.com and pinterest.

I wanted to hire a wedding planner who made my dream come true. I wasn’t fortunate enough to find that planner. All the planners I had met with wanted to make their dreams come true. One wedding planner even said to me: just tell me what your favorite color is and leave the rest to me. Not exactly what I had in mind.

So after a long search for a planner and one short trip to the hospital for a supposed nervous breakdown (yes, really) I realized that no one would plan my wedding as well as I could. And I did.

I called and stalked my flower vendor, I made my DJ my new best friend, I even made my husband’s groomsmen buy air freshener for the ballroom. And my wedding was everything I wanted it to be. But I was damn exhausted and could barely enjoy it.

Five years and two kids later, with the help of my ever so supportive Sherry El Kilany, I decided to begin the Wedding Agency. Basically, it is everything I wanted/needed when I was getting married.

At the Wedding Agency, we can help with everything from picking out a dress to the bride’s hair and make up. We have searched Cairo for the best of the best and made them even better. Wedding Agency clients receive extra perks and discounts from greats like Mas from Diva Salon and Fadi Gwanni from Gwannian Photography.

Just give us a call and it’ll be the last call you’ll have to make to have the wedding you’ve always dreamed of.

Come check us out at this year’s Wedding Fair at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza on Sunday and Monday (July 15-16 2012) from 1-11 PM.
