Inspirational 86 Year-Old Egyptian Swimmer Wins Bronze Medal
This is the kind of those news stories that will either potentially makes you feel guilty for for being the constant couch potato that you are, or will inspire you to be the best athlete in Egypt. Facebook page, Sports News Egypt, just shared the cutest photo on the Internet. The photo is of 86 year-old Egyptian swimmer, Essam Nasser.
Essam Nasser just won the bronze medal at an 800-meter freestyle swim race in the 85 to 89-year-old category at the 2017 FINA World Masters Championships in Budapest.
If we had come across this news story before Sahel season had commenced, maybe we would have been much more fitter. We’re not even near our 40s, and we find ourselves hyperventilating whilst ascending the stairs.
