World’s Biggest Yacht Belongs to an Arab?

Move over Roman Abramovich there is a new super yacht in town, and this one boasts to be the world’s fastest and largest private yacht.

Azzam, reportedly belongs to a “mysterious” Arab billionaire, said to be one of the richest men on the globe, but now one knows who exactly. Some reports claim that the yacht is owned by an Oil mogul from the UAE, while other’s claim it belongs to the Saudi Royal family.

The boat is over 590 feet in length and about 55 feet more than the previous world-record holder, the Eclipse, which is owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.“To put that in perspective, the Azzam super yacht is almost two full football fields in length, and hosts a variety of unique features, from a defensive missile system to no less than two helipads.” He better have a big stock of marine batteries saved up!

The yacht cost over $609 million dollars to make and no expense was spared for the interiors either. Renowned French designer, Christophe Leoni, was roped in to undertake the designing of the interior space. Drawing inspiration from the pure opulent nature of the project he implemented a sophisticated and luxurious interior in an Empire style.
