With Islamophobia being a concerning issue that is constantly growing, Muslims all over the world are starting to be looked down upon, feared and in some places even targeted.

Trying to reach out to the people and show them that Muslims are just as human as everyone else, Muslims of Canada took to the streets with a sign saying “I am a Muslim, so that makes me…” and encouraged people to write a word of how they see Muslims.

The responses they got were flattering, making us realize that sometimes all we really need to do is build a connection and prove to the world that not all Muslims are terrorists.
