UAE Passport Ranks 9th Most Powerful In The World

The UAE passport has been named as one of the most improved and powerful in terms of growing influence around the world over the past decade.
The UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Gargash, tweeted on Thursday that the Emirati passport has been ranked at 9th position in the Global Passport Index. Therefore, Emirati citizens can now travel visa-free to 157 countries worldwide.

The current index shows that the UAE citizens can travel to 112 countries without visas. In addition, they can get a visa on arrival in 45 countries, which makes a total of 157 destinations. Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that the country’s vision 2021 works on strengthening its diplomatic efforts to have one of the top five passports in the world.
