The UAE Is Building A 24-Hour Party Island

Yep, you read that right – the UAE will soon be home to a man-made island just for partying.

“We’re trying to make it the new Ibiza – a mini Ibiza dedicated solely to partying,” explained Sales and Marketing Director George Saad. “People will be able to come here, stay in the hotel party at clubs on the beach, anything in the world you can do… And we are trying to attract festivals to come here – like Burning Man.”

Dream Island will be located in Ras Al Khaimah, just a 40-minute drive from Dubai, which means you won’t need a personal license to drink alcohol.

It plans to host up to 20,000 partiers, two mega-clubs, four beach clubs, five hotels, 100 restaurants, apartments, villas and a shopping mall.
