Key workers should be appreciated and praised for the work they do for their country and fellow citizens. It’s easy to forget that, without them, our day to day lives would not be the same.
Who are our frontline heros?
Frontliners include workers who clean, handle waste disposal, work in housekeeping. As well as those who work in healthcare facilities, such as doctors, nurses, lab technicians and respiratory therapists. And last but not least, those working in crisis management who are responsible for security, emergency services and volunteers.
It’s worth noting that these key workers are people who put their lives at risk on a daily basis for the sake of others.
The UAE are showing their gratitude by gifting these workers Golden Visas
The United Arab Emirates have announced that they will be issuing frontline workers and their families Golden Visas. The idea came from the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
As a sign of appreciation for their efforts and sacrifices, officials hope that this gift will offer key workers more stability.
“Following the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership, we continue to work alongside the Abu Dhabi Residents Office to activate the Golden Visa Programme and update the Golden Visa application process to make it more accessible for the public. This will help us attract and welcome the world’s most gifted and qualified individuals while ensuring to provide them with easy access to healthcare services during their stay in the UAE.”Said Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi.
Along with its 2.2 million residents belonging to more than 200 nationalities, a large number of people are looking to move and settle in Abu Dhabi every year. We are committed to strengthening our role in providing the largest possible support in improving the quality of life in Abu Dhabi and its position worldwide.Said Executive Director of the Executive Affairs Office at ADDED.
