The 5 Countries Most Addicted to Facebook
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that a large majority of the world’s population is addicted to Facebook. If your not actively on it, then you have it running in the background and you probably check it from your phone and your computer any chance you get, so cut the crap, YOU’RE AN ADDICT!
In a recent study, these five countries topped the list as the most addicted to Facebook:
1. Brazil
Approximately 65.5 million users are currently members of Facebook, with around 82.85% of the country’s online population actively posting, updating and stalking other people. Every user approximately makes an overage of 103 posts per month!
2. Italy
Italy comes in second place, with the second largest active user base on Facebook in the WORLD! From their fashionable updates to their football antics, Italians seem to have a lot to talk about on the social networking site.
In Italy, each Facebook user makes on average of 107 posts per month. Italy also has the 11th highest number of Facebook users in the world, with a total of 22.7 million.
3. Colombia
The country most known for their drug trafficking and criminal shenanigans comes in third on the list. Approximately, the country generates an average of 109 posts per page per month.
Superstar Shakira hails from the country, with her fan page being one of the most popular with over 55 million followers.
4. Russia
Political unrest or not, Russia comes in fourth on the list. On average, every Russian user makes 111 posts to Facebook per month – that’s an average of 3.6 posts per day to the site.
Keep in mind that Facebook is not the leading social network in the country either! VK.com is a Russian copy cat of Facebook and has managed to take a majority of the country’s population under their wings
5. Egypt
Last but not least, Egypt has made it onto the list as the fifth most Facebook addicted country in the world. With an average of 380 posts per month, which accounts to over 12 posts per page, Egyptians seem to have a growing obsession with the social network.
Egypt, where one of the world’s biggest revolutions was spurred by the network, has nearly 11.7 million people on the site.
