Support Cancer Patients and #RunToEndHerCancer In Zamalek Tomorrow

Zamalek Runners, Ladies Unite and Globeathon have joined forces with the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) of Egypt and have organized a marathon to fight breast cancer, under the hashtag #RunToEndHerCancer. The gathering will start at 6:30 AM in front of Imperial boat, Zamalek. After warming up and stretching, the run will kick off at 6:45 AM sharp.

“Our main target for this marathon is to engage people in fun activities in a way and to spread awareness for early cancer detection and prevention,” Esraa Mohamed, the founder of Ladies Unite and the PR at Zamalek Runners, explained to us. “If you join the marathon, you are helping to inspire, motivate and spread the word to help cancer patients. Surely your presence will make a difference.”

Globeathon started in Egypt in 2013 by BCF, which is the main representative of the Egyptian branch of Globeathon. It started as a relay race in Washington DC and has since spread to over 80 countries.
