Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Meets Pope Francis at the Vatican
In an effort to promote security, peace and stability in world, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has gone to Vatican to visit Pope Francis.
“We are working together on promoting and enabling, for peace and stability to prevail throughout the world,” said Sheikh Mohammed, after the meeting at the Vatican. The Pope also offered his greetings to the UAE and Muslims around the world in celebration of Eid Al-Adha.
Sheikh Mohamed explained that the injustice the world has recently witnessed is due to the absence of the coexistence and acceptance of others. “Terrorist groups that pretend to act in its name deviate from its true path,” Sheikh Mohammed continued as he stressed on how Islam was a religion of peace, tolerance and moderation.
WE SAID THIS: The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi will also meet Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi after talks with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s secretary of state.
