Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper Are Coming to Abu Dhabi in March

For the past decade, UAE has been graced with the biggest international performers and we just can’t get enough. The latest music icon to hit the stages of Abu Dhabi next month is none other than Rod Stewart. The concert will take place on March 2nd and it will be the first one in a long line-up of events in du Live!’s 2017 calendar.

We expect to dance to some of his biggest hits such as “I Don’t Want To Talk About It”, “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” and basically every single song on the set list. Stewart’s solo career lasted more than 40 years, with a songbook containing countless, worldwide hits including “Maggie May”, “Sailing”, “The First Cut Is The Deepest” and “Tonight’s the Night”. The British rock singer is known for his raspy tone, leopard-print jumpsuits and his eccentric personality.

Last time Stewart performed the UAE in 2010, he was supported by ’80s pop group Spandau Ballet. This year, he’s going to be joined by the “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” songstress herself, yes, Cyndi Lauper.
