Robots Have Begun to Replace Humans in Dubai

With Sophia being the first Saudi robot citizen, the Artificial Intelligence game has become stronger in the region. DEWA, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, just also just revealed that it has hired five robots as customer service staff.


It was reported that Dubai have hired the robots in order to fulfill its objective of enhancing the experience of customers, and contributing to the facilitation of upgraded quality services at its Customer Happiness Centers.

Operational efficiency is number one priority to DEWA, and with the help of the robots, it will attempt to perfect it to the highest universal standards. Subsequently, every robot will get an employee number. FUN FACT: The first employee number for any robot, ever, is 99000099.

The Centre for Customer Happiness marks the first integrated smart customer care center in Dubai. The center functions on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics, and offers smart and advanced facilities to the customers.
