Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) is the first and only prize in the Arab world to provide financial & business support to fashion designers within the MENA region. How much do you know of ‘Ready-to-wear?’ Well, most of us might not understand too much of it, and below we have some of the best ‘Ready-to-wear’ designers that show us how it’s done! From stylish and glittery to simple and sustainable. Let’s shine a spotlight on out top favorite FTA prize finalists!

Maram Aboul Enein

Born in Egypt, Maram Aboul Enein completed a BFA at parsons Paris, and trained at the prestigious fashion houses of Oscar de la Renta and Zac Posen. Her womenswear brand is a combination of luxurious modernity whilst maintaining in using sustainable sourced fabrics.

Lama Jouni

Lama Jouni’s full inspiration sprouts from art, music and travel. Inspirational and impressive, right? This amazing fashion designer trained at Balmain and Reed Krakoff. Her ready-to-wear collections carry a high fashion ethos.

Zaid Affas

From wanting to be an architect to graduating from Central Saint Martins fashion school. His designs are all about menswear, having a mixture of organic shapes and urban engineering. Zaid Affas thought of putting a touch of his architectural origin to his fashion designs.

Cynthia Merhej

Cynthia Merhej is a Lebanese fashion designer who trained at Central Saint Martins and Royal College of Art in London. Her label is under the name of Renaissance Renaissance, which offers a contemporary reinvention of female couture heritage. Check out her amazingly detailed, sustainable and stylish ready-to-wear collection.
