The ‘Poteto’ Ad Is an Actual Disgrace to Humanity and We Love It
There are only so many things that could go wrong with an ad, but time has proved that sometimes agencies can overdo themselves. From a product that is misspelled and mispronounced, encouraging kids to skip a healthy breakfast for over-fried junk, to a lack of artistic direction, the Poteto ad is so horrific and we can’t stop laughing.
For real, even if we pretend that the product that is misspelled (yes, we need to remind you of this very important fact again) is superb, the whole storyline is blasphemous. How did this twentysomething woman manage to give birth to these three kids? Like honestly, where did she find the time?
Also, how is that voice-over Tamima woman still alive? We truly believe that the Poteto ad will go down as Egypt’s best meme ever. Yes, it’s that bad.
