Over 1.4 Million Muslims Arrive to Saudi Arabia For Hajj Pilgrimage

The Saudi General Directorate of Passports announced on Monday that the number of Hajj pilgrims who have come to Saudi Arabia from overseas stands at 1,486,958 million. However, these numbers cover the period from the 14th of July to the 11th of August.
The report stated that the number of pilgrims coming from abroad via air reached more than a million. Furthermore, those who came by land reached 78,282 with 15,748 by sea.
However, the numbers proved a decrease of 10,529 pilgrims, compared to the same period last year.
