A team of Sudanese entrepreneurs, creatives, and activists came together to create Nile Nights, a New York–based cultural platform that taps into Sudanese diaspora communities through conscious culture, joy, and collaboration. The initiative spans a series of live events and documentation projects highlighting the Sudanese creative scene.
Nile Nights previously hosted Nile Nights 001 in New York in 2024, a live showcase featuring Sudanese rappers G-SALIH and Nadine El Roubi, along with other artists and DJs. The event raised $6,000 for the Sudan Diaspora Network (SDN), supporting campaigns focused on communities at risk of starvation in Sudan.
Expanding this year, Nile Nights announces a multi-city tour across the U.S. and internationally. The tour kicks off in Dallas, where the fundraiser will take place at Deep Ellum Art Co. on January 18. The lineup includes Jabrallah, Nadine El Roubi, Mourine, and Love Bonez, with proceeds benefiting Haboba’s House, an initiative dedicated to repairing war-damaged homes and community spaces in Sudan.
Additional tour stops are planned for D.C., London, Canada, Chicago, New York, and Cairo, with more dates and lineup announcements forthcoming.
Tickets for the Dallas show are available now via Nile Nights’ link in bio.
